Future Females Windhoek - Confidence & Assertiveness

Date & Time
German Pathfinder Hall, CO Robert Mugabe Ave / Peter Muller Str, Windhoek Map

The Event

Our April meeting will be about - How to speak Assertively & be more Confident

Topics to be covered:

*Emotional Intelligence

*Decision making

*Handle stress better

*Conflict resolution

When faced with interpersonal problems, we often feel inferior to others. This most likely leads to us suppressing our feelings or strike out in anger. Neither of these are truly productive, right? And how do we say no without feeling guilty?

Assertiveness is the courage to be ourselves and show the world our likes and dislikes, share our thoughts, communicate honestly. And to do that effectively, we need to be confident within ourselves.

This month we delve into the topics of confidence and assertiveness. How they are interlinked, how we can grow stronger in both these skills and end the month being a little further, closer to the ideal than we started off. We will learn how to develop tactics to effectively deal with a variety of anxiety creating situations, stand our ground, communicate effectively, and feel confident within ourselves wile doing it.

So, don't delay, join us for our event where two speakers will again inspire, motivate and give us actionable tips to learn and grow.

And on top of that, meet each other again, or meet new people joining our get-togethers, building this lovely community in Windhoek.
