The term ‘StayToday’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is 1 c/o Axali Doeseb and Mozart Street, Windhoek West. Our company registration number is CC/2011/1039. The term ‘you’ or ‘guest’ or ‘user’ or ‘customer’ refers to the user or viewer of our website. Our website is www.today.com.na and email address is firstname.lastname@example.org.
All reasonable measures are taken by us to ensure that this Website is operational all day, every day. However, occasional technical issues may result in some downtime and accordingly we will not be liable if this website is unavailable at any time.
Where possible we always try to give advance warning of maintenance issues that may result in Website down-time but we shall not be obliged to provide such notice.
Website Access and Use
It is not necessary to register with us in order to use most parts of this Website. However, particular areas of this Website will only be accessible if you have registered.

You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law. The prices quoted on this website for the last minute short stays, the anytime featured stays, and events are displayed as they have been captured on the Website. Although we will take great care and make every effort to ensure that prices are accurate, we reserve the right to make corrections to prices at any time, without notifying the user.
- Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.
- This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice, which forms part of these terms and conditions.
- All trademarks reproduced in this website which are not the property of, or licensed to, the operator are acknowledged on the website.
- We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our sole discretion.
- Unauthorized use of this Website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.

StayToday does not have any control over the nature, content and availability of those sites. They do not signify that we endorse the website(s). Visitor Provided Material
When using this Website, you shall not post or send to or from this Website any material:
- for which you have not obtained all necessary consents;
- that is discriminatory, obscene, pornographic, defamatory, liable to incite racial hatred, in breach of confidentiality or privacy, which may cause annoyance or inconvenience to others, which encourages or constitutes conduct that would be deemed a criminal offence, give rise to a civil liability, or otherwise is contrary to the law in the Republic of Namibia;
- which is harmful in nature including, and without limitation, computer viruses, Trojan horses, corrupted data, or other potentially harmful software or data.
We will fully co-operate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requiring us to disclose the identity or other details of any person posting material to this Website in breach the paragraphs above.
We, our suppliers, employees, directors, partners, affiliates and agents will not be liable for any damage, or loss or liability of any nature incurred by whoever as a result of any action or omission. We make no warranty or representation as to the availability, accuracy or completeness of the content or any third-party content accessible via an Internet link.
Short and Featured Stays
StayToday will make every effort to ensure that the prices quoted on the website for the short and featured stays are to the best of our belief accurate and correct, but we do not accept any liability for any errors/inaccuracies contained in the prices. StayToday reserves the right to amend any price quoted on this website at any time without notification to their guests. Guests that have already paid for short stays and featured stays based on an incorrect price will be refunded in full.
Value added tax at 15% is charged on bookings by VAT registered establishments and is included in the price quoted.
All prices on the website are quoted in Namibian Dollars (N$). The prices include the applicable Tourism Levies as per the Namibian Tourism Board and 15% VAT. Payment in foreign currency (currencies other than Namibian Dollars or South African Rands) will be accepted at the rate of exchange provided by Nedbank at the time of receipt of payment. Any shortfall resulting in exchange fluctuations will be for the account of the customer.
StayToday acts as a ticket selling agent for event organisers, service providers and promoters under the name EventsToday.
StayToday will not accept the responsibility of tickets transferred or re-sold by ticket holders or event organisers.
It is the responsibility of the ticket buyer to correctly select the intended ticket type and ticket quantity to be purchased. It is the ticket buyer’s responsibility to ensure the content of their online cart is correct before confirming payment. Should the ticket buyer make an error, they are required to immediately contact EventsToday via email (email@example.com).
The event organisers may refuse admission to events, alter the program or seating arrangements for events, or postpone or cancel events. Where this occurs, the event organiser may offer a refund or exchange of tickets for which you may be required to follow procedures determined and communicated by the event organiser and/or StayToday. StayToday will not be liable to provide a refund if you are refused admission to the event or otherwise fail to qualify for admission. Should the event be cancelled or postponed, the event organisers or StayToday will provide notice (whether electronically or otherwise) or contact you to inform you that the event will no longer take place at all or will not take place at the advertised date and time. The event organiser or StayToday will inform you of the refund or exchange process in relation to the cancellation or postponement of the event. In order to qualify for or receive any refund or an exchange, you are required to comply with the event organiser’s or StayToday’s instructions and deadlines.
Neither StayToday nor our affiliates, directors, employees, officers, contractors, nominees or agents will be responsible or liable in any way for any damage or loss of whatsoever nature arising from the postponement and/or cancellation of an event, your use of and/or reliance on our services and website or on any information provided on or via the website. This includes, without limitation, any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, whether arising out of contract, statute, delict, tort or otherwise and regardless of whether we were expressly advised of the possibility of such damage or loss. You acknowledge that use of this website and/or our services is entirely at your own risk.
Please refer to the cancellation policy per event page. If a cancellation policy is not displayed, then the event ticket/s purchased are considered non-refundable.
All event tickets and bookings are non-refundable during the 48 hours leading to the event starting time.
Ticket bookings cancelled after the event tickets are sold out, are not guaranteed to receive a refund. Refunds are issued at the sole discretion of the event organiser.
For events that allow refunds upon cancellation, an administration fee of 7.5% will be charged to the ticket holder.
No refunds of N$ 50 or less will be issued. These amounts are considered non-refundable regardless of the cancellation policy.
Due to the nature of the short stays bookings, no cancellations will be accepted and all bookings are considered to be final.
Featured stays can be cancelled up to the end of the availability period (“time for which the featured stay is run on the website – this is indicated as "weeks/days left to book"). An administration fee of 7.5% will be charged for all cancelled featured stays. No cancellation requests will be considered after the feature stay has ended.
Credit Card Payments
StayToday is a secure website and its identity has been verified by THWATE DV SSL CA. All transactions are conducted using secure socket layer technology (SSL). StayToday never stores credit card details. Credit card details are only used to secure the booking, after the acquiring bank has authorized the transaction for the amount requested. All transactions go through the transaction portal operated by PayGate, and all credit card processing will be done through their secure payment gateway. All credit card transactions occur in an encrypted format using SSL technology and the PayGate payment Gateway used has been security certified by our merchant account bank, Nedbank Namibia.
Great care is taken by StayToday to ensure that all personal client information is secure, but we cannot guarantee the security of the information transmitted via the internet to or from this website due to the inherent risk of transmitting transaction over the internet. You as customer therefore agree to indemnify us from any loss or damage suffered as a result of a security breach and understand that we do not in any way guarantee the security of the information provided to us. You provide your personal information entirely at your own risk.
Direct Deposit Payments
Should you elect to make making payment via direct deposit or electronic funds transfer (“EFT”), you will receive instructions on how to facilitate this payment. Guests and ticket buyers must ensure that the total amount is paid as reflected on the checkout screen (“the quoted amount”). StayToday reserves the right to refuse receipt of payments which do not correspond with the quoted amount.
StayToday will send you confirmation of your booking/purchase once the funds are physically received in our bank account. The transfer time of payments may vary and usually takes between 1 and 4 working days to be processed, depending on the Bank used to transact. StayToday will process payments once a day, 7 days a week.
Only payments received within the validity period will be processed and accepted. Payments received within 1-4 days after the closing date of the featured stay will be processed depending on the approval of the establishment. All payments received after the validity period which have not been approved by the establishment will be refunded in full, after deducting a handling fee of N$ 25 and any bank charges incurred to process the transaction.
Registering on The Website
Guests must be registered on the website in order to make a purchase from the website. We reserve the tight to decline a new registration or to cancel an account at any time. When you register on the website, you agree that you will provide us with the following information:
- Sex (optional)
- Email address
- Date of birth
Once you have registered, you will be able see your transaction history, print your purchased short/featured stays and modify your preferences.
Upon registering, you will have to option to decide whether you would wish to receive email communication Regarding our new services and special deals from StayToday. You can, at any time, unsubscribe from receiving these emails, by click on the “unsubscribe” button at the bottom of any email correspondence. You will also be able to unsubscribe under your account settings tab.
Once registered, you agree:
- that all information provided to us is true, complete and accurate and that you will inform us of any changes to such information by updating the details in your account.
- that you will keep your password confidential and immediately notify us if any unauthorized third party becomes aware of / uses your password without your authorisation. You are responsible for any loss or damage you, or any other party, may suffer if you do not maintain the confidentiality of your password.
- that we can send you administrative emails as required as part of our operations.
Being a registered user does not entitle you to collect product or service listings, descriptions or other information displayed on this website. It also does not allow any derivative use of this website or the content for the benefit of another merchant.
Online Availability and Reservations Made
Establishments are in charge of uploading/updating their online availabilities. Therefore, any overbookings (or successful booking made which cannot be honoured by the establishment, regardless of the cause (save in the event of wilful misconduct or gross negligence by StayToday), will be the responsibility of the establishment, and we do not take any responsibility for any claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays or loss of enjoyment, of any nature or kind whatsoever, resulting from successful bookings not honoured by establishments.
In the case of an establishment not honouring a booking, we will make all reasonable effort to contact you and assist in resolving the situation. StayToday’s contract with establishments stipulates that it is the responsibility of the establishment to arrange for alternative accommodation at no additional charge. Should the establishment fail to organize alternative accommodation, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation, and to refund you in full.
If you have made a booking for more than 1 consecutive night, but you do not show for the first night of reservation, it is your responsibility to confirm the reservation changes with the accommodation provider in line with their terms and conditions.
Requirements When Checking In
You will be required to provide your credit card and passport/ID or other photo identification at check-in to ensure that your identity matches the booking identity. A record and/or copy your passport/id or other photo identification may be retained by the accommodation provider to minimize the risk of fraudulent credit card usage and for verification purposes with your credit card provider in the event of a dispute. The accommodation provider may supply the identification information to us.
Once successfully purchased, you will receive an email confirmation with all the information regarding your featured stay, together with a unique identification number. This email confirmation must be printed and presented to your establishment to redeem your featured stay. Alternatively, you can provide the establishment with the unique identification number and a copy of your passport/driver’s licence or ID. Your featured stay can be redeemed only during the period specified in the “fine print” detailed in each of the packages. We do not provide your credit card details to any accommodation provider and as such you may be required to present your credit card at check-in.
Passport, Visas and Other Travel Documents
All guests are personally responsible to ensure that they have the necessary travel documentation in place prior to their stay. StayToday and the participating establishments will not be held responsible for any consequences whatsoever that results from failure of the guest to ensure they are in possession of all the required travel documentation.
You are strongly advised to maintain adequate travel insurance prior to arriving at your destination. It is your responsibility to check that you have adequate insurance cover. The insurance should cover, amongst other things, the cost of cancellation by you, personal losses and all medical costs.
StayToday will assist in resolving disputes that arise between establishments or event providers and guests. However, StayToday does not take responsibility for resolving the dispute. No bookings are underwritten or guaranteed by StayToday.
Your use of this website and any dispute arising out of such use of the website is subject to the laws of Namibia.
StayToday may change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
These terms will be governed by the laws of the Republic of Namibia. If any of the provisions of these terms are found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible so as to give effect to the intent of the terms, and the remainder of these terms will continue in full force.
StayToday is not a booking agent and does not charge any commission or service fees to the users of this website. StayToday only acts as an intermediary between establishments, and provides users with a medium to find (search) and pay for accommodation. By making a booking on the website, you agree to accept the offer made by the establishment, and the terms and conditions of the particular establishment (and those of StayToday), and therefore both these parties (guest and establishment) are bound by this contractual agreement.
Every effort is made to keep the website up and running smoothly. However, StayToday takes no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.
Significant information included on our website is uploaded and administered by the establishments, and although we make great efforts to ensure the quality, accuracy and completeness of the information, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability of this information. Any reliance you place on such information is therefore strictly at your own risk.
We will not held be liable for any losses, damages, liability, claims or expenses (howsoever caused, including negligence, and whether direct, indirect or consequential) arising from the use of or connected with our site or any products or services purchased on our site, and we make no warranty or representation as to the aptness or suitability of any product or service displayed on our site or any linked site.
When you visit StayToday or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communication from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on this site.
